DineAid is a charitable initiative of the NZ restaurant and hospitality industry.

DineAid raises money at Christmas time through a voluntary addition to your restaurant bill of just $2 per table.

DineAid guarantees that 100% of all of the money raised will be redistributed within New Zealand to offer those in need a ‘helping hand'

DineAid Special Appeal  has been launched to help Cantabrians following the devastating 6.3 earthquake.

Civil Defence Minister John Carter says cash donations are the best way to support affected people.

"That way, affected people can make their own choices about putting their lives back together. What's more, money spent locally helps the local economy at a crucial time," Carter says. "Cash rather than goods will be needed as it will be some time before the logistics to handle this will be available."

100% of all funds from DineAid Special Appeal from March 1st - April 10th will be given to Christchurch in response to the disaster. As weeks go by, different needs will be identified and so many organisation on the ground will be delivering, care and rebuilding lives and communities, the care and rebuilding is not short term, as New Zealanders we're there for the long haul with your help, together we'll be meeting them.

DineAid is simple, between March 1st - April 10th. Look for your local DineAid restaurant and its just $2 added to the table bill, of course if you would like to donate more, please speak with your waiter.

Thank you so much for your support
